Working in the hair industry for over 31 years, George has garnered a wealth of expertise and experience in hair coloring, cutting, perming and straightening. He has been a Goldwell color technician, attended Vidal Sassoon cutting and color classes, and Tony & Guy cutting classes. He is currently working on a L'Oreal certification and Balayage and foiling certification. Inspired in his youth, going to the salon with his mother, he enjoys the creativity involved as a stylist and the art of being beautiful. He is inspired by helping his clients create a new style or persona and making people happy! George finds satisfaction seeing clients walk out the door to finish their day with a big smile and a feeling of well being.

Esmeralda has been working as a hair stylist for the last 25 years (20 of which have been at Billy the Kid). She has loved doing hair since she was a child (styling her mom, friends' and family members' hair). Her area of expertise is in coloring and perming along with teaching clients how to style their new haircuts, knowing what products to use and making their styles both easy to work with while look great too. She is inspired seeing clients walk out the door with a smile knowing they look good in their made over styles. She loves being able to use her creativity, being an artist and the friendships she has built with her clients.

Working in the hair and beauty industry for the last 8 years Janie got started fixing her sisters' hair and decided to become a stylist. Her area of expertise is in color and making people feel good! Learning new color techniques continues to inspire her in her career. She loves working with people and hearing their stories while making them look gorgeous.

Tony has been working in the beauty industry for 41 years now (most of which have been in Santa Fe). He is Redken trained, Matrix certified colorist, Keune Educator & Certified colorist. People inspire him and he enjoys all areas of the industry. He particularly loves seeing people's faces when the transformation is complete!

Sophia got her start from an early age growing up being around the salon her grandmother. Looking for a way to express her creativity she decided to start her career in hair and beauty. She has had training in NYC for color through Vidal Sassoon and a training in San Francisco for cut with Vidal Sassoon as well. Her area of expertise is in cut and color and she enjoys looking at every head of hair as a blank canvas. She loves for the joy she brings to people and seeing people's smile after their hair is dried and styled.

 After getting her own nails done for a couple of years, Charman loved seeing the hands on every day service and decided to pursue a career in the nail industry 21 years ago now! She specializes in all areas and does several kind of nails from silk, gel and acrylic nail and spa pedicures. She is inspired making people feel better about themselves and to see them so happy for the first time is a wonderful feeling. Charman loves doing this because she enjoys the time and bond she makes with her clients, some of which develop into close friendships.

Paula Gonzalez

Paula has been our Office Manager for 6 months now after previously being a client of the salon! She oversees answering the phone and organizing all of the appointments, scheduling and ordering of products. She is inspired in her position by being a part of the team helping make the clients' salon experience memorable. Recognizing the resilience of people in their daily lives also inspires her. Paula loves interacting with the clients and getting to know them. "They are all so friendly and happy when they come in because everyone enjoys getting their hair and nails done!"
